Disneyland Paris Castle and road for the parade

In January 2010, I took my children to Disneyland Paris, France for a magical few days visiting the parks, eating great food, making memories and having lots of fun.

We drove from Wiltshire to Kent in the UK to jump aboard the Eurostar and start our amazing break away. The children enjoyed the train journey and when we arrived at Disneyland Paris, our luggage was taken to our hotel.

We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge, which had lovely rooms, great food in the restaurant and also was just a walk away from the parks. It was freezing cold with it being January, so the children wrapped up warm.

We also booked in to experience the Disney Breakfast with the characters at Café Mickey, which is something I highly recommend you do, even though it's an early start, the children will love it.

We watched a few shows, went on rides, took lots of photos and enjoyed the parade too. It's definitely a must-see if you have children that love Disney.

We walked our feet off, spent money on amazing gifts, had wonderful food, took sssoooo many photos and had THE best time.

If you are a Disney fan then this is definitely one to tick off your list! There's something for everyone at Disneyland Paris.

The smiles never stop and I loved the look on my children's faces when the characters were walking around and especially for the parade too.

It was a dream to be able to fulfil this trip. It truly was an incredible break away and the children loved it, as did I.

What was incredible for me, was that it was the first holiday I had taken the children on after my divorce and through the earnings in my business - so that's what made it extra special too.
